Calculating Position Scores
To calculate our various position scores, we use the below formula:
OFFENSE
QB OVR: QB1 (100%)
RB OVR: RB1 (70%) + RB2 (25%) + RB3/FB (5%)
WR OVR: XWR1 (40%) + ZWR1 (35%) + SLOT WR1 (25%)
TE OVR: TE1 (80%) + TE2 (20%)
OT OVR: LT1 (50%) + RT1 (50%)
IOL OVR: LG1 (33%) + C1 (34%) + RG1 (33%)
DEFENSE (4-3)
EDGE OVR: SDE1 (50%) + WDE1 (50%)
IDL OVR: NT1 (50%) + 3T1 (50%)
LB OVR: MLB1 (40%) + WLB1 (35%) + SLB1 (25%)
CB OVR: LCB1 (37.5%) + RCB1 (37.5%) + NCB (25%)
SF OVR: SS (50%) + FS (50%)
DEFENSE (3-4)
EDGE OVR: WDE1 (50%) + SLB1 (50%)
IDL OVR: SDE (33%) + NT1 (33%) + 3T (34%)
LB OVR: MLB1 (50%) + WLB1 (50%)
CB OVR: LCB1 (37.5%) + RCB1 (37.5%) + NCB (25%)

Special Teams Grades
K (50%) + P (20%) + RS1 (20%) + RS2 (10%)
Coaching Grades
Career Win Pct (50%) + Challenge Record (10%) + Offense PPG Rank (10%) + Defense PPG Rank (10%) + Playoff Win Pct (10%) + ESPN Ben Solak List Score (10%)
+2.5 Points for AP Coach of the Year; +5 Points for Each Super Bowl
Roster Overall Score
A team’s overall roster score is calculated as follow:
Offense Grade (45%) + Defense Grade (45%) + Special Teams (5%) + Coaching (5%)
